Monday Workshop with Tess Edwards

Every Monday Tess Edwards hosts a studio access day for a small group of artists, wishing to continue their personal creative journey using the studio facilities. Tess is there to inspire, encourage and critique your work in progress. All levels of competence are welcome, with no expectations or judgments, and plenty of fun and creative relaxation/stimulation is guaranteed.
This is a full day, 10am - 4pm, with a shared (very convivial) lunch. Bring your own materials. Monday workshop will continue throughout school holiday periods.

Critique Day with Lloyd Godman **NEW**

This is a new and exciting addition to the Baldessin Press array of workshops. The critique day is designed for artists working on personal projects, or undergraduate and postgraduate students who feel they would like more creative stimulus.

· Push your work further into areas of new discovery
· Be part of a meaningful, insightful yet challenging critique with other artists
· Learn strategies to look at your work from a critical perspective
· Discover ways to make sense of dense art texts

Make a hand made print from a digital source, using non-toxic photosensitive printing plates. This is an ideal workshop for photographers or printmakers. Photogravure produces the most exquisite, rich and velvety tones through the printing process. Includes digital techniques for making high quality films. Book early, as the group is limited to 6 participants.

Traditional Etching week-end with Rob Hails

Learn the basics of etching. Produce several images on a zinc plate, explore aquatints, wax pencil and colour. Come along with your ideas or simple drawings and discover the process of producing a small edition. Suitable for all levels. Book early, as the group is limited to 6 participants.
