Learn the basics of etching. Produce several images on a zinc plate, explore aquatints, wax pencil and colour. Come along with your ideas or simple drawings and explore the process of producing a small edition. Suitable for all levels. About Rob Hails Rob has worked in the Performing Arts Industry and taught Perforning Arts at a post secondary level for over 25 years. Although he has always had an interest and passion in the visual arts, it has only been in recent years that Robert has dedicated time and energy in exploring the discipline of traditional Printmaking. Consequently, his images on paper mostly respond to the characters, design, text and mystery of the theatre stage. He enjoys making a statement or telling a story on paper in a similar way that he has explored working and teaching on the "theatre stage". Robert is currently experimenting with the combination of traditional printmaking and monotype techniques to create on off images or being the basis for editioning work. Rob is one of the founding members of the Baldessin Press. For more information on this workshop, please email Rob Hails EnrolmentsPlaces fill quickly.
