<< COTTAGE

Situated about 100 metres from the studio, and 50 metres from the house, is a very charming 2-room bluestone cottage, which looks out onto the bush. This cottage has a kitchenette / living space with potbelly stove and bedroom with double bed. The bathroom is off the verandah, which overlooks the valley.
It is self-contained, but less roomy than the Studio Flat, and is ideal for short stays.

<< STUDIO GARRET FLAT

The studio building has an upstairs attic flat which is very comfortable, and self-contained, with separate entrance via an exterior staircase. It consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom (with queen size bed), and bathroom. A small balcony looks out onto the surrounding bush, where many birds, kangaroos, wombats, possums, etc are abundant.

Costs for both the Cottage and Garret flat: $75 for the 1st night, and $60 per night thereafter.

Retreats

Three or more consecutive days of studio access with accommodation.

The Baldessin Press now offers art "retreats" for complete immersion in your creative pursuit, whatever that may be. A choice of reasonably priced, comfortable self contained accommodation in either the bluestone cottage or the studio garret flat.

Full 24 hour studio access to all facilities. Come and work, dream, contemplate and rejuvenate your creative self among the gumtrees in the silence and peace. Optional extras include technical assistance, meals and transport to/from Hurstbridge station.

$325 for three days and $100 per day thereafter. (One person only, second person fees on application)
Does not include art materials. Meals available on request at reasonable rates. Free pickup service from Hurstbridge Station by arrangement.
