Our twice yearly Open Studio week-ends have become a highlights in our program where we enjoy meeting a wide variety of interesting people.

It's a great opportunity to check out our facilities and find out what we can offer.

A varied and interesting exhibition included etchings, drypoints, photogravures, monotypes, hand made digital prints and sculpture, all at studio prices.

The Baldessin Press is inviting interested artists to apply for a position as ARTIST IN RESIDENCE for 2009.
This consists of full accommodation and 24 hour studio access to the facilities for a 3 week period during the first half of 2009. What a great way to immerse and focus like never before on that special project, exhibition or artists book.

-a comprehensive CV,
-an outline of why you want to work at Baldessin,
-any future plans/projects in the pipeline,

Retreats - 5 Day Package

The Baldessin Press now offers art "retreats" for complete immersion in your creative pursuit, whatever that may be. A choice of reasonably priced, comfortable self contained accommodation in either the bluestone cottage or the studio garret flat, is available for short or longterm stays.

Full 24 hour studio access to all facilities. Come and work, dream, contemplate and rejuvenate your creative self among the gumtrees in the silence and peace. Optional extras include technical assistance, meals and transport to/from Hurstbridge station.

Cost: $400 - Inlcudes accommodation and studio access for 5 consecutive days. (Materials and meals not included)
